Storyhacking Masterclass with Christine Cynn

This year, alongside the projections of films followed by presentations and discussions with the public, the 7. Philosophical Film Festival will also offer two masterclasses to all interested in a more in depth inquiry into film and philosophy. Besides the masterclass with Ivan and Monja Jovic after the projection of their film “The Healing” on March 31, as part of the Festival we will have a masterclass with the special guest of PFF 2017 – Christine Cynn from Norway. The Macedonian premiere of „Shooting Ourselves” will take place on April 1 (Saturday), starting at 20.00h in the Cinematheque of Macedonia, while the day before, March 31 (Friday) beginning at 13.00h (in the same place) Christine Cynn will have her masterclass open to all interested.

Storyhacking Masterclass

Artist and filmmaker Christine Cynn has been re-purposing storymaking/storytelling/storyapplication for 20 years. She sees imagination as the original virtual reality, structured largely by narrative. Please come ready to participate in a storyhacking game. Bring a pen and something from your kitchen (fruit, cup, utensil, sardines). A smartphone is helpful but not necessary.

The entrance is free. For participating, it is helpful to know English.
